A prominent growing law firm is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join its Finance and Real Estate practice group. The successful candidate will often serve as part of a specialized paralegal team, managing large deal files and ensuring the efficient execution of multi-property closings.
Essential Job Functions
- Independently review title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports for commercial properties.
- Prepare and distribute title comment memos to relevant parties.
- Coordinate directly with title companies, surveyors, and zoning consultants.
- Organize transactions involving multiple properties and manage comprehensive deal files.
- Assist with the drafting of loan documents.
- Work with closing teams to organize large deal closing binders.
- Address specific client needs, including electronic document submission.
- Assist with miscellaneous projects assigned by practice group leadership or attorneys.
- Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation within the department.
- Perform all other duties necessary for the efficient functioning of the firm.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal with specific skills in title, survey, and zoning report review.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
