Plunger Lift Sales and Service Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

Plunger Lift Sales and Service Representative will be tasked with managing and servicing their area of business. This includes the following:
Maintain accurate inventory levels and participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory audits. Promote and participating in sales and growth for the area. Providing field services and support to customers. Communicating field and customer activity back to the district manager. Maintain plunger lift service relationships in the field. Troubleshoot problems in the field. The person in this position must be dealing directly with customers in the field, and communicate between product line managers, district managers, and customer to achieve solutions to problems. Maintain a safe and effective work environment. Participate in all Liberty safety policies and meetings.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Keep up with and maintain adequate truck inventory
• Maintain accurate and timely billing
• Pursue sales opportunities and grow the business
• Provide the needed services to support customers as requested
• Communicate field and customer activity back to the product line managers
• Troubleshoot problems in the field
• Maintain a safe and effective work environment
• Participate in all Liberty safety policies and meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to sort, count, and verify numbers.
• Strong computer and data entry skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized and process-oriented.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.
• Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force I order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
• Bending legs downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
• Ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
• Ascending or descending ladders, scaffolding, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
• Raising objects from a lower to higher position or moving object horizontally from position to position.
• Perceiving size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly the fingertips
• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.
• Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Using upper extremities to exert force to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
• Activities in which you must convey by spoken word detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly
• Perceiving the nature of sounds with or without correction, to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discrimination in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on equipment or machines

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment and in the field. This includes exposure to all weather conditions. Most of the physical work requires small hand tools and lifting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position may encounter overnight traveling.

Experience

• 3 - 5 years: Microsoft Excel

Education

• High School or better
