Position Summary

The ESP Account Manager is responsible for managing, growing, and supporting assigned Electric Submersible Pump customer accounts across the Midland and greater Permian Basin market. This role serves as the primary commercial point of contact for customers, building strong relationships, identifying sales opportunities, supporting pricing and contract discussions, and coordinating with field operations, engineering, and sales support teams to deliver reliable artificial lift solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned ESP customer accounts within the Midland/Permian Basin territory.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and seamless service delivery.
• Develop account plans, sales strategies, and opportunity pipelines to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate ESP equipment, service, and support solutions.
• Support quotes, bids, tenders, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations within approved guidelines.
• Collaborate with field service, engineering, applications, operations, and management teams to align customer requirements with technical and operational execution.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding account activity, service quality, equipment performance, and upcoming needs.
• Follow up on leads, customer requests, and service opportunities to improve margins and strengthen account penetration.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer development plans to identify growth opportunities.
• Communicate account updates, risks, opportunities, and customer feedback to regional leadership.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, petroleum technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Electric Submersible Pump systems, artificial lift, production operations, or related oilfield equipment.
• Strong understanding of ESP operations, customer field requirements, and Permian Basin operating conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships, manage multiple priorities, and close commercial opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting processes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing customer relationships within the Permian Basin artificial lift market.
• Experience supporting ESP equipment sizing, troubleshooting, failure analysis, run-life improvement, or production optimization discussions.
• Experience working with operators, consultants, pump shops, and field service teams.
• Ability to interpret production data, equipment performance trends, and customer operational goals.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to travel to customer offices, field locations, yards, and shop environments as needed.
• Ability to work in office and oilfield environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, bend, stoop, and walk on uneven surfaces when required.
• Availability to support customer needs outside standard business hours when business-critical issues arise.
