Bartender – The TAVERN at Liberty Farms
Position Overview
The TAVERN at Liberty Farms is seeking friendly, energetic, and professional bartenders to provide exceptional service in a welcoming, farm-to-table dining environment. Our bartenders are responsible for creating a positive guest experience through efficient service, quality beverages, and genuine hospitality. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft, and thrives as part of a team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the opening team of a brand-new restaurant. As we build a reputation for exceptional food, handcrafted cocktails, and outstanding hospitality, bartenders will have the opportunity to earn competitive hourly wages plus tips. We’re looking for team members who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat business and generous gratuities.
Compensation: Starting at $11.35 per hour, plus tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with friendly, attentive, and professional service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the cocktail menu, beer, wine, spirits, and food offerings.
- Provide beverage recommendations and answer guest questions with confidence.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
- Process guest payments using our point-of-sale (POS) system (training provided).
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and serve responsibly in accordance with all state and local regulations.
- Assist with opening, closing, inventory, and other bar-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A basic understanding of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and bartending techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
- TIPS Certification is preferred but not required. Certification will be provided to candidates who are not already certified.
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Ability to lift cases of beverages, kegs, ice buckets, and other bar supplies.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
