Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure an exceptional bar experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and cater to guest preferences
- Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies efficiently, and monitor alcohol service to ensure responsible consumption
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly during busy hours
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling, alcohol service, and sanitation practices
- Assist in bar management duties when needed, including training new staff and maintaining operational standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender with strong knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail recipes
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or upscale hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Food safety certification or knowledge of food industry sanitation standards required
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
