SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Administrative Assistant II provides comprehensive administrative support to the district office while serving as the primary coordinator for district payroll‑related tasks. This role supports daily office operations, assists district leadership, and ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll activities. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support
- Performs all general office duties including filing, data entry, document preparation, and correspondence.
- Serves as back‑up for the front desk, providing customer service and visitor support.
- Maintains office supply inventory and coordinates facility‑related needs.
- Provides administrative support to district management as needed.
- Maintains basic working knowledge of district departments through location visits and shadowing (Lab, Warehouse, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety).
Payroll & Employee Support
- Coordinates and processes district bi‑weekly payroll and sweep payroll in alignment with corporate payroll procedures.
- Ensures payroll deadlines are met and all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Serves as the district’s primary point of contact for payroll questions, paycheck inquiries, and timekeeping support.
- Assists managers with retrieving pay history and supporting documentation for status changes or personnel updates.
- Main contact for corporate payroll
