Tooling Engineer
The Tooling Engineer will support tooling design, new product development, and process improvement within a metal forming environment. This role will take tooling projects from concept through production, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and tooling partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop forming progressions and tooling strategies
- Create 3D models and tooling drawings
- Review prints and specifications to determine tooling requirements
- Coordinate with internal toolmakers and outside tooling vendors
- Support tooling trials, debugging, and production start-up
- Assist with new product feasibility and quoting
- Improve tooling performance and manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
- 4 years of tooling, product, or manufacturing engineering experiencets
- Ability to read engineering drawings; GD&T knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with EDM, lathes, grinders, and other toolroom equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
Salary Range: $105,000-$130,000
