LHH is working with a client who is at the forefront of sustainable ingredients for the health, beauty, and wellness industry who is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager. This role is ideal for someone passionate about beauty and personal care, with a strong technical foundation and the ability to translate ingredient functionality into compelling narratives that resonate with formulators, brand marketers, and end consumers. You’ll collaborate across R&D, sales, and marketing teams to lead product launches, drive demand, and ensure customers see the value and innovation in every ingredient.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and mentor team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Lead new product launch projects to meet annual commercialization goals.
- Partner with R&D and Regulatory to ensure marketing claims are substantiated.
- Coordinate sales training and create go-to-market toolkits.
- Engage with global customers and distributors to present products and understand market trends.
- Create ingredient stories grounded in performance data and market insights.
- Manage social media, ads, and e-blasts to generate leads and optimize cost per lead.
- Monitor global beauty and personal care trends to inform content strategy.
- Identify market opportunities and update competitive positioning.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years in the personal care, chemical industrial, or regulated technical industry (Sales, Marketing, or R&D).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing (with technical experience), or related field.
- Strong understanding of formulation applications and ability to connect technical features to consumer benefits.
