LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Supply Planner to support end-to-end supply planning operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment in Alpharetta, GA. This role is responsible for balancing production, inventory, and demand while partnering cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on planning experience, and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage short-term production plans (0–4 week horizon) to meet customer demand while optimizing capacity and cost
  • Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring alignment with manufacturing capabilities and business needs
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to maintain optimal stock (safety stock, reorder points, ABC segmentation, etc.)
  • Identify capacity constraints and proactively recommend solutions to improve throughput and efficiency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Transportation, and Sales to resolve supply issues and improve performance
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by providing data and insights to align supply with demand forecasts
  • Manage material availability and collaborate with procurement teams to mitigate shortages and delays
  • Communicate accurate delivery timelines and ensure customer commitments are met
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping)


Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or scheduling within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Proven ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Experience with production scheduling, inventory management, and S&OP processes
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, PowerPoint)


Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS CPIM or CPSM certification
  • Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (e.g., JDE, Kinaxis or similar tools)
  • Background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
