Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Our LHH client in Concord has a temp to hire opening. Join a stable team and organization. You’ll get the stability of a successful, established business and an opportunity to be part of their organizational changes and offer assistance with a ERP upgrade and an investment in staff training early in your tenure. This role is in office daily in Concord, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes under the direction of the controller

• Assist with financial statements and reports

• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; manage fixed assets and depreciation

• Oversee inventory accounting, including costing and reconciliation

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit processes

• Develop and document accounting procedures, drive process improvements

• Use ERP systems and Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Support cash management, accounts payable/receivable with monthly reconciliations, and ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with ERP/accounting systems

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay for the role will depend on experience. The range is $90- 110K annually paid in an hourly equivalent while on assignment.
