Senior Accountant – Our LHH client in Concord has a temp to hire opening. Join a stable team and organization. You’ll get the stability of a successful, established business and an opportunity to be part of their organizational changes and offer assistance with a ERP upgrade and an investment in staff training early in your tenure. This role is in office daily in Concord, CA.
Responsibilities
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes under the direction of the controller
Assist with financial statements and reports
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; manage fixed assets and depreciation
Oversee inventory accounting, including costing and reconciliation
Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit processes
Develop and document accounting procedures, drive process improvements
Use ERP systems and Excel for data analysis and reporting
Support cash management, accounts payable/receivable with monthly reconciliations, and ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with ERP/accounting systems
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay for the role will depend on experience. The range is $90- 110K annually paid in an hourly equivalent while on assignment.
