What You’ll Do
- Assist with month‑end close, including preparation and posting of journal entries related to AR, AP, inventory, and accrued expenses
- Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts and supporting subledgers
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support vendor rebate filings, tracking, and reconciliations
- Prepare cost trend and performance analyses across branches and entities
- Analyze profitability and performance at the branch and entity level
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform variance analysis, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Support internal controls, policies, and public‑company reporting requirements
- Participate in ad hoc analysis and special projects tied to growth and system integration
- Deep dive into accounting systems and data to troubleshoot and resolve issues
What They’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s preferred
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong reconciliation and general ledger background
- Experience in multi‑entity and intercompany accounting environments
- Distribution or manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Public company experience strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, heavy data analysis)
- Experience with integrated ERP systems
Salary : $100,000 - $105,000
