Senior Accountant
Location: Nashville, TN

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually
Position Overview
A growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role will be responsible for managing key accounting processes, assisting with month-end close activities, and supporting compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and support financial statement preparation.
- Assist with audits and provide documentation requested by internal and external auditors.
- Support improvements to accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and timely resolution of accounting issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
