Job Title: Retail Devlopment & Sales Manager
Location: Bridgeview, IL
Salary: $100,000-$145,000
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Retail Developement & Sales Manager to join our client's organization in the Bridgeview, IL area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead account management and broker partnerships to expand retail distribution and achieve growth targets.
- Develop channel-specific sales and promotional strategies aligned with brand and margin goals.
- Build compelling sales presentations, new item forms, and annual planning decks for retail buyers.
- Track and analyze sales performance, velocity, and competitive trends to inform strategy.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and growth teams to ensure retail success.
- Collaborate with operations and finance to manage inventory, ensuring on-time and in-full shipments and healthy inventory levels.
- Manage trade budgets, negotiate retailer terms, and secure favorable promotional structures.
Key Qualifications:
- 5 years of direct sales management experience, preferably within CPG or food & beverage at an emerging growth company.
- Proven ability to build partnerships and scale retail distribution.
- Experience managing brokers and key accounts across natural and conventional channels.
- Strong understanding of P&L impact, trade spend, and margin structures.
- Excellent storytelling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
