Contract Recruiter

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established and reputable Kansas City organization who is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support a high-volume hiring initiative. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for a recruiter who thrives in building pipelines, managing large applicant flow, and partnering closely with hiring managers to drive efficient hiring outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage full cycle recruiting for high-volume roles across multiple departments (e.g., operations, customer service, administrative, or skilled roles)
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and local market outreach
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified talent to support ongoing hiring demands
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication to ensure a positive experience
- Utilize and maintain accurate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Track recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and time-to-fill to support hiring goals
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and adjust strategies based on hiring needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of recruiting experience (agency or corporate)
- Proven experience supporting high-volume hiring environments
- Strong sourcing and screening capabilities across multiple channels
- Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting tools
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Familiarity with the Kansas City talent market
- Experience working on contract or project-based recruiting engagements
