Production Buyer I
We’re looking for a Production Buyer I to provide tactical purchasing support for assigned value streams. This role ensures the company has the necessary materials for operations, maintains accurate purchase order processes, and supports inventory and pricing management. This is a great opportunity for someone organized, detail-oriented, and interested in supply chain operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Review requisitions and process purchase orders (POs) with attention to accuracy and order hygiene.
- Acknowledge POs, maintain promised delivery dates, and ensure accurate pricing.
- Act as the first line of defense for price increases and resolve any related issues.
- Support inventory targets by maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors regarding order acknowledgment and confirmations.
- Assist production cells and address invoicing or shipping issues promptly.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with relevant laws and ethical standards.
What You Bring:
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Some prior experience in a purchasing or similar role is helpful but not required, as training will be provided.

💵 Pay: $33 – $36/hour.
