LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its clients Miami office. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity offering meaningful exposure to complex matters and the ability to play a key role in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic litigation environment and enjoys balancing substantive case support with operational responsibilities. The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys and legal staff to support business litigation matters from inception through resolution. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proactive approach to keeping cases on track.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys across all phases of business litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation
- Manage and track litigation deadlines, court calendars, and case-related milestones
- Coordinate with clients, courts, vendors, and internal teams regarding case and administrative matters
- Assist with matter intake, including opening new files and maintaining accurate case records
- Prepare, review, and organize documents, including pleadings, discovery, and trial materials
- Monitor trial and arbitration calendars and support scheduling logistics
- Assist with billing processes, including time entry, invoice review, and budget tracking
- Maintain document management systems, case files, and litigation databases
- Develop and update templates, workflows, and internal resources to improve operational efficiency
- Support case closing procedures, including file retention and archiving
- Assist with internal training materials and onboarding resources as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably within business or commercial litigation
- Prior law firm experience required
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, deadlines, and case management
- Experience managing complex calendars and multiple active matters
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
