Are you an experienced Litigation Paralegal looking for an opportunity to join a well-established legal team handling complex civil litigation matters? LHH is partnering with a highly regarded Jacksonville-area law firm seeking a proactive paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys playing a key role in case strategy, trial preparation, and day-to-day litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process
- Coordinate and prepare materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial
- Draft and manage pleadings, subpoenas, motions, and other legal documents
- Maintain litigation calendars and ensure compliance with court deadlines
- File documents in both state and federal courts using e-filing systems
- Analyze and summarize medical records, billing records, and deposition testimony
- Organize case files, discovery materials, and exhibits
- Track cases from intake through resolution
Desired Qualifications
✔ 3 years of litigation paralegal experience
✔ Insurance defense background strongly preferred
✔ Strong understanding of court procedures and litigation deadlines
✔ Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
