What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Legal Assistant position at LHH?
LHH is seeking a proactive, detail-driven paralegal with at least three (3) years of experience in Florida civil litigation. The ideal candidate has a strong command of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and is experienced in e-filing, case management, discovery, and providing comprehensive litigation support from case inception through trial.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial materials.
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, hearings, and scheduling.
- Assist with deposition preparation, document production, and assembly of trial binders.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date case files.
- Coordinate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of Florida civil litigation paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of Florida court procedures, e-filing, and service rules
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume caseload
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with NetDocuments or TABS is a plus
