Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Neenah, WI (Hybrid)
Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time
Our client, a highly respected and established law firm in the Neenah area, is seeking an Entry-Level Litigation Legal Assistant to join its growing team. Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and legal staff with litigation matters from case opening through resolution
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain electronic and physical case files
- Coordinate scheduling, calendaring, and deadline management
- File documents with state and federal courts, both electronically and traditionally as needed
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other third parties
- Organize discovery materials and assist with document management
- Perform legal and administrative support tasks to ensure efficient case management
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate a plus
- Internship, administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Interest in litigation and the legal profession
Additional Information:
Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
