About the Role:
Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance to start their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Performing general ledger accounting, including preparation, posting, and documentation of journal entries.
- Conducting monthly reconciliation and research of balance sheet accounts and bank accounts.
- Assisting with budget and trend variance reports at month-end, including explanations of variances.
- Supporting audit and tax processes at year-end.
- Participating in special projects and preparing reports as needed.
- Contributing to financial diligence and integration for acquired companies.
- Preparing and filing property tax returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- Open to recent graduates; prior internship or related experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
