This high-impact role will serve as a key business partner to operations, supply chain, and senior leadership, focusing on cost analysis, capital planning, and long-term operational strategy. Core Responsibilities:
- Provide financial leadership to manufacturing and operations teams through analysis of cost drivers, production performance, and capital spend
- Evaluate and maintain product cost structures, including materials, labor, and overhead
- Develop financial models to assess operational changes, restructuring scenarios, and investment opportunities
- Support long-term capital planning and evaluate return metrics for proposed projects
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align operational strategies with financial goals
- Perform monthly variance analysis on production costs, inventory, and cost of goods sold
- Lead financial support for continuous improvement initiatives and cost savings projects
- Deliver financial insights to senior leadership via dashboards, reports, and business case presentations
- Assist in developing and maintaining rolling forecasts and budgets for manufacturing operations
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in reporting tools, financial processes, and internal controls
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- CPA or MBA preferred but not required
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing finance or cost analysis role
- Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and capital investment evaluation
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards) and advanced Excel capabilities
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams
- Highly analytical with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
