The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for our sales and operations teams. This individual will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership while building the scalable compliance infrastructure needed to support aggressive national growth.
Specifically seeking candidates with direct residential mortgage compliance experience — preferably within an Independent Mortgage Bank (IMB), though strong mortgage compliance backgrounds within banks, credit unions, or other lending institutions will also be considered. General corporate compliance experience without deep mortgage lending expertise will not be sufficient for this role.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- 5-7 years of recent residential mortgage compliance within an IMB (Independent Mortgage Bank) or similar mortgage lending environment
- Development of compliance process and procedures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly convey compliance requirements to diverse, non-technical audiences.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership.
- Hands-on experience with marketing, social media, and video compliance review.
- Working knowledge of MSA structure, management, and RESPA Section 8 risk.
- Experience managing LO Compensation programs for producing LOs and both producing and non-producing managers.
- CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager), CMB, or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience with fulfillment operations and end-to-end process flow compliance review.
- Familiarity with LOS platforms, compliance management systems, and QC tools.
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
