Customer Service Representative
Direct Hire | 1st Shift
Pay: $21–$25/hour
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support service technicians and customers by handling service and sales orders, answering product-related inquiries, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity on 1st shift.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and emails from customers and service technicians in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate technical information while ensuring compliance with company policies
- Recommend corrective services to resolve customer issues and complaints
- Maintain and update customer files
- Enter sales orders using OMS/WMS systems
- Assist customers in identifying appropriate part numbers
- Prepare and provide quotes, order confirmations, and shipment tracking information
- Respond to customer inquiries and follow up as needed
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to customers
- Previous experience using OMS/WMS platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
