Corporate Controller Position in Sheboygan County
We are working on a Controller position for an international manufacturer in the Sheboygan area that has been around over 50 years and has seen steady/substantial growth throughout their history. This position is open due to an upcoming retirement and will be the right hand to the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Oversee preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Review and analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide clear and actionable financial insights to leadership
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls and financial processes
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to cross-functional leaders
- Support development of annual budgets and forecasts
- Monitor financial performance against plan and identify variances
- Drive continuous improvement across financial workflows and systems
- Ensure effective use of ERP and financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA REQUIRED
- 8 years of experience in manufacturing
- 4 years of management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
