Litigation Paralegal – Complex Business Litigation
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in complex business litigation to support a leading legal team in Atlanta, GA. This position plays a critical role in managing cases from inception through trial and appeal, ensuring seamless support for attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate federal and state court procedures, including e-filing in federal and Georgia courts.
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and hearing schedules.
- Draft routine court filings (e.g., notices of appearance, motions, subpoenas).
- Organize and maintain electronic and hard-copy case files; prepare trial binders.
- Conduct legal research using Lexis and Westlaw.
- Assist with document production, including redaction, Bates stamping, and copying.
- Cite-check and Bluebook briefs; Shepardize legal memoranda.
- Support deposition preparation and trial logistics, including exhibit management and courtroom tech setup (OnCue).
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and staff at all levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience; 2 years of trial experience preferred.
- Familiarity with complex commercial litigation and e-discovery processes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree with ABA paralegal certification or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation technology.
- Ability to travel as needed and work moderate to heavy overtime.
