In-House Corporate Contracts Attorney (Hybrid – Washington, DC)
Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Contracts Attorney to join its in-house legal team in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid role offering a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted legal partner to internal business teams on day-to-day commercial contracting needs
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including vendor, procurement, SaaS, technology, NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs
- Provide practical, business-oriented guidance on contractual risk and compliance
- Support contract lifecycle management from intake through execution and post-signature support
- Assist in developing and improving contract templates, playbooks, and internal processes
Qualifications
- J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
- 5 years of commercial contracts experience, preferably in an in-house environment (law firm experience with strong commercial focus also considered)
- Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
Pay Rate: $80-$100/hour
