Bankruptcy Paralegal – Hybrid | Tampa, FL
A dynamic legal team is looking for a Bankruptcy Paralegal to support attorneys in managing creditor-side bankruptcy matters and related litigation. This hybrid role is based in Tampa, FL and requires in-office presence three days per week.
🔍 What You’ll Do
- Prepare and file bankruptcy documents including proofs of claim, motions for relief, and objections under Chapters 7 and 11
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely document management
- Draft and review legal documents such as motions, briefs, and discovery responses
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Track deadlines and assist with case strategy and procedural updates
- Stay current on local bankruptcy rules and court procedures
✅ What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent legal experience
- Florida Registered Paralegal certification is a plus
- Solid understanding of bankruptcy law and federal court procedures
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills
- Proficiency with legal software and document management tools
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
💼 Compensation: $75,000–$90,000 annually
