What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney Recruiting Coordinator position at LHH?
An AmLaw 200 law firm in Century City is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Coordinator! This role will support support attorney recruiting and hiring initiatives for summer associates and associates across its three offices (Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Francisco). The coordinator reports to the Chief Strategy & Development Officer and works closely with the Recruiting Committee and an existing coordinator. This position offers significant exposure to professionals throughout the firm and provides excellent opportunities for advancement. This position offers one day of remote work flexibility following the probationary period.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with law school career services and attorney recruiters.
- Post job openings and source law student and associate candidates.
- Review candidate submissions and circulate them to department leaders.
- Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system (viDesktop).
- Plan and execute the summer associate program, including onboarding, training, and social events.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum three years of law firm experience in legal recruiting, personnel, or professional development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with viDesktop is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and client service.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $70,000–$85,000 annually (based on experience)
- Discretionary bonus eligibility
