LHH is partnering with a well-known public accounting firm in Warrenton, VA, to hire a Temporary Tax Administrative Assistant. This assignment will begin in January and run through May. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of administrative experience and be available to work onsite, Monday through Friday. The hourly pay rate is $21-$23, based on experience. Responsibilities: Review client tax documents for accuracy and completeness Prepare and organize tax documents following established procedures Scan and electronically file tax documents Create electronic binders for organized document storage Upload documents to the appropriate locations within internal systems Requirements: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Previous experience with 1040 tax documents is preferred Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel for one week of training Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or tax-related certification is a plus Prior experience in a similar administrative role is preferred Familiarity with tax documents, including 1099s and W-2s , is required Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
