LHH is partnering with a respected and established law firm to identify an experienced Real Estate Litigation Legal Assistant. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-level legal and administrative support. The anticipated salary for this role is between $65,000-$85,000 a year. This role offers a hybrid schedule after training. The team is excited to find the right candidate to help their team!Responsibilities:· Prepare template/shell pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents.· Coordinate document production; revise, finalize, file, and serve pleadings.· Prepare attorney and court working notebooks.· Perform electronic court filings in state and federal courts.· Draft and format correspondence and legal documents from transcription, handwritten drafts, or notes.· Apply track changes, formatting, and styles; proofread and redact documents.· Conduct document comparisons and generate redlines.· Maintain electronic and physical client files.· Manage large electronic document productions via secure file-sharing platforms.· Enter and proofread attorney time entries in billing software.· Review and edit proformas; prepare and distribute client invoices.· Research and resolve billing inquiries.· Process expense reports and disbursement requests.· Communicate professionally with clients and outside counsel.· Coordinate meetings, hearings, travel, and conference room reservations.· Maintain attorney calendars and monitor docket deadlines.· Assist with CLE reporting and business development expense requests.· Support practice group administrative needs and special projects.Qualifications:· High School Diploma or GED required.· Minimum of 3 years of legal administrative experience, preferably supporting litigation and/or construction and design law.· Certificate or degree in Legal Assistant, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred.· Familiarity with local, state, and federal court procedures strongly preferred.· Basic accounting knowledge is a plus.· Typing speed of 60 WPM.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.· Experience with document management and billing systems such as iManage, Adobe Acrobat, Aderant, Carpe Diem, Intapp, Workshare Compare, and similar platforms preferred.· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.· Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.· Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.Benefits:· Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance: Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month coinciding with or following your date of hire.· FSA & HSA· Disability Insurance· Group Term Life Insurance· Paid Time Off: Accrual at a rate of 5.31 hours per pay period.
