What You'll Do
As a Purchasing Assistant, you???ll support senior purchasing leadership and buyers by managing administrative workflows, tracking deals, and coordinating across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
- Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling
- Coordinate travel and prepare meeting materials
- Organize communications and prioritize requests
- Track deals, inventory lists, and documentation
- Manage purchase orders and internal forms
- Maintain sample logs and organize materials
- Prepare shipping and freight documentation
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams
- Track order status and resolve discrepancies
- Escalate critical issues when needed
- Maintain organized files and records
- Support trade shows, meetings, and vendor visits
- Assist with general office operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- CRM experience is a plus
- Self-starter mindset with high attention to detail
- Thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
- Direct exposure to deal flow and purchasing strategy
