Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist Gardner, KS | Fully Onsite Full-Time | Direct Hire| $75-85,000 annually LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well?established manufacturing organization located south of Johnson County, who is seeking to hire a Procurement Specialist to support day?to?day purchasing operations and ensure the timely, cost?effective flow of materials needed to keep production running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who understands the pace and priorities of a manufacturing environment and enjoys working closely with suppliers, operations, and internal stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source and procure raw materials, components, and services to support manufacturing and production schedules
• Issue and manage purchase orders; track order status to ensure on time delivery
• Partner closely with production, inventory, and operations teams to align purchasing with demand
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to drive cost savings and continuity of supply
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records within the ERP system
• Support inventory control efforts, including cycle counts and materials planning
• Assist with contract reviews, renewals, and vendor performance tracking

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
• Hands?on experience sourcing raw materials or production?related supplies
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
• Comfortable working cross?functionally with plant, production, and supply chain teams
• Solid negotiation, analytical, and problem?solving skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow?through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
