Office Assistant job in San Diego, CA Pay Rate: $24.00 - $29.00/hour based on experience Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: 8 weeks and can always be extended based on business need Start Date: As soon as possible Location: National City We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to support a busy property management team in National City. This temporary position will focus exclusively on obtaining and managing third-party verifications for the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. - Communicate professionally with employers, agencies, financial institutions, and other third-party organizations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of verification requests and responses.
- Send, receive, and track correspondence via email and fax.
- Ensure deadlines are met and required information is collected in a timely manner.
- Organize and manage verification files while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Knowledge of the LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and courteous phone etiquette.
- Experience using email and fax systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of follow-up activity.
