The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Perform e-filing in state and federal courts and ensure compliance with applicable court rules
- Generate and format tables of contents and tables of authorities (TOCs/TOAs)
- Maintain and monitor deadlines using docketing systems and attorney calendars
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, briefs, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate new matter intake, including engagement letters and conflicts checks
- Order Certificates of Good Standing and assist with pro hac vice filings
- Manage attorney time entry, pre-bill review, and expense reimbursements
- Schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and manage conference room logistics
- Track CLE requirements and assist with attorney registrations and compliance
- Maintain court login credentials and attorney admission records
- Provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar within litigation
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures, including e-filing systems
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with document management systems such as NetDocuments or similar platforms
- Advanced Word skills, including styles, track changes, and document comparison tools
- Familiarity with billing and expense tools such as Intapp Time or similar systems is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required
- Notary certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus
