This role is responsible for the installation and service of Division 8 doors, frames, and hardware in commercial environments. The ideal candidate brings hands-on installation experience, a strong safety mindset, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and service Division 8 doors, frames, and hardware in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Load, unload, and inspect materials daily to ensure quality and accuracy
- Review job paperwork prior to leaving the warehouse to confirm completeness and correctness
- Provide professional, high-quality customer service on all job sites
- Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in a safe and compliant manner
- Follow OSHA safety standards and verify job site readiness prior to installation
- Complete accurate daily progress and installation reports
- Communicate effectively with superintendents, customers, and internal team members
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Support team standards and demonstrate professionalism at all times
- 3 years of experience in construction or carpentry, with Division 8 installation experience preferred
- Ability to read tape measures, construction drawings, schedules, wiring diagrams, and product specifications in English
- Strong attention to detail with a customer-service mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs without assistance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with ability to pass a DOT physical
- Experience driving a company box truck preferred
- Pay range: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity with long-term stability
