This is a great opportunity to work alongside a sophisticated corporate and transactional team supporting high-level clients and complex matters.

LHH has partnered with a nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Paralegal to join its Chicago office on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a sophisticated corporate and transactional team supporting high-level clients and complex matters.
What You'll Do
- Manage entity compliance, annual filings, and regulatory deadlines (including FinCEN)
- Prepare and file UCCs and obtain corporate records from Secretary of State offices
- Maintain corporate records, entity files, and due diligence materials
- Support corporate, lending, and business transactions from start to finish
- Coordinate closings, prepare closing binders, and handle post-closing follow-up
- Serve as a key point of contact with attorneys, clients, vendors, and government agencies
- 3 years of corporate, commercial, or transactional paralegal experience in a law firm
- Strong background in entity formation, annual filings, UCCs, and corporate record maintenance
- Working knowledge of IL and DE Secretary of State systems (Florida a plus)
- Familiarity with the Corporate Transparency Act preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a fast-paced workload
- Competitive hourly rate of $31-$48, depending on experience
