LHH is building a pipeline of talented Collections Professionals for current and upcoming opportunities with leading employers throughout the Cleveland, Ohio market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage business-to-business (B2B) collections and follow up on outstanding accounts.
• Review accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection activities.
• Contact customers via phone and email to resolve past-due balances.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues.
• Document collection activities, payment commitments, and customer communications.
• Work cross-functionally with accounting, billing, customer service, and finance teams.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account records.
• Support cash flow objectives while preserving positive customer relationships.
• Assist with reporting, account analysis, and month-end activities.
• Escalate delinquent accounts as needed and recommend appropriate resolution strategies. Responsibilities commonly include collections management, dispute resolution, AR aging review, client communication, and account reconciliation activities

Qualifications

• 2 years of collections, accounts receivable, credit, or related accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of collection procedures and customer account management.
• Experience reviewing AR aging reports and resolving payment issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

• B2B collections environment.
• High-volume customer account portfolios.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms.
• Collections metrics and reporting.
• Dispute management and account reconciliation.

Compensation

Compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and client requirements. Competitive salary and benefits may be available through our client partners.
