The Administrative Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to a healthcare team during a maternity leave coverage period. This role focuses on chart review, patient outreach, appointment coordination, and data collection, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication across internal teams, patients, and external facilities.

Responsibilities
- Review and extract data from medical records in Epic EMR to support care coordination and reporting needs
- Conduct outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders and follow-ups
- Contact external facilities and providers to obtain required clinical or administrative information
- Coordinate appointments and support patient communication with accuracy and professionalism
- Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with healthcare standards
- Support data collection and reporting workflows as needed by the care team
- Prioritize tasks independently while balancing onsite and remote responsibilities
- 2 years of administrative support experience in a healthcare setting
- Hands-on experience with Epic EMR
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience conducting chart reviews and data extraction from medical records
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage patients and external partners
- Experience with appointment coordination and patient outreach
- Ability to manage a hybrid schedule and work independently
