Position SummaryLHH is partnering with a growing construction company based in Escondido to hire a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support their day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, has hands-on accounting experience, and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.The position will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory tracking, and general administrative support, working closely with ownership, project managers, and field staff.Key Accounting ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable, including vendor invoices, coding, approvals, and timely paymentsManage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, payment application, and follow-up on outstanding balancesAssist with inventory tracking, including materials, tools, and job-related suppliesMaintain accurate records in the accounting systemMaintain organized and accurate financial files (digital and paper)QualificationsBilingual in Spanish and English preferred2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivablePrior experience in construction, contracting, or a related industry preferredFamiliarity with Sage accounting software preferredBasic understanding of inventory tracking or materials managementStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable working independently and managing multiple prioritiesProficient with Microsoft Excel and basic office softwareReliable, punctual, and comfortable with an early start scheduleSchedule:Monday-Thursday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PMFriday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Early schedule / afternoons free) Why JoinConsistent early schedule with afternoons freeStable, locally based construction companyHands-on role with variety and visibilityTeam-oriented, practical work environmentOpportunity to grow with the companyPay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hourSearch managed by: Erin Kile Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
