Job Title: AfterCamp Director
Overview: The Aftercamp Director is responsible for the planning, coordination, and daily leadership of the camp’s aftercamp program. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and well-organized environment for campers while supervising camp staff, managing schedules, and supporting program growth. The Aftercamp Director works closely with camp leadership, families, and aftercamp instructors to deliver high-quality programming that aligns with the camp’s mission and values.
Responsibilities:
The AfterCamp Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations running an AfterCamp program
The AfterCamp Director is responsible for the supervision, planning, and implementation of their program while acting as a role model for other staff and youth in the program
This position will give you the opportunity to work with our Meadow Breeze camp children, planning fun activities, caring for children and creating a fun and safe environment for our campers
Plan, organize and implement the AfterCamp daily program and curriculum
Supervise, train and mentor Meadow Breeze Aftercamp staff
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Meadow Breeze staff and parents
Qualifications:
Strong managerial or supervisory skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics
Demonstrate organizational, staff, and activity-based management abilities
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods
Must be able to participate in physical activities throughout the facility
Requirements:
Minimum 21 years of age
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification (recommended)
Must be 18 yrs of age or older
Complete a CORI background check
Attend all training sessions
Pay: Seasonal, $23-$27/hr based on experience
