AfterCamp Director (Summer)

Job Title: AfterCamp Director

Overview: The Aftercamp Director is responsible for the planning, coordination, and daily leadership of the camp’s aftercamp program. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and well-organized environment for campers while supervising camp staff, managing schedules, and supporting program growth. The Aftercamp Director works closely with camp leadership, families, and aftercamp instructors to deliver high-quality programming that aligns with the camp’s mission and values.

Responsibilities: 

• The AfterCamp Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations running an AfterCamp program 

• The AfterCamp Director is responsible for the supervision, planning, and implementation of their program while acting as a role model for other staff and youth in the program

• This position will give you the opportunity to work with our Meadow Breeze camp children, planning fun activities, caring for children and creating a fun and safe environment for our campers

• Plan, organize and implement the AfterCamp daily program and curriculum 

• Supervise, train and mentor Meadow Breeze Aftercamp staff 

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Meadow Breeze staff and parents

Qualifications:

• Strong managerial or supervisory skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics

• Demonstrate organizational, staff, and activity-based management abilities

• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods

• Must be able to participate in physical activities throughout the facility 

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age 

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification (recommended)

• Must be 18 yrs of age or older 

• Complete a CORI background check

• Attend all training sessions

Pay: Seasonal, $23-$27/hr based on experience
