Senior Tax Attorney – M&A / Corporate Transactions
We are seeking a senior-level tax attorney with 8 years of experience focused on M&A and corporate transaction tax. This role supports sophisticated deal work, including transaction structuring, reorganizations, and partnership-related tax matters.
Experience should include:
- M&A and corporate transaction tax planning
- F reorganizations, installment sales, and transaction-trigger analysis
- Tax allocation statements and Section 338(h)(10) elections
- Partnership tax (basis, allocations, rollovers, contributions)
- Reviewing tax aspects of operating, contribution, and transaction agreements
Profile:
- Large law firm experience strongly preferred
- Strong academic credentials (typically top-tier law school performance)
- Practical, deal-oriented judgment; LL.M. in Tax a plus, not required
