- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in estate planning activities by analyzing wills, trusts, and estate law considerations to optimize client outcomes.
- Support financial statement preparation by applying GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and conducting balance sheet reconciliation.
- Conduct detailed account analysis, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting to maintain precise financial records.
- Utilize accounting software and other financial software tools for bookkeeping, asset management, payroll processing, and regulatory reporting.
- Engage in financial analysis to interpret financial report writing and support mergers & acquisitions activities.
- Manage accounts payable processes and assist with budgeting, financial planning, and asset management initiatives.
- Contribute to non-profit accounting projects by ensuring proper fund allocation and compliance with specific regulations.
- Support tax experience development by staying current on securities law updates, private equity considerations, and investment-related tax strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sales transactions, investment analysis, and financial services projects to enhance overall financial acumen.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Work authorization
- Fluent in Mandarin (Required)
