Under the general supervision of the Road Manager/Bridge Manager, this position performs road and bridge maintenance and repair. Must live within 40 miles of Lincoln, MT.
Who We AreThe Road, Bridge, and Sign Divisions are responsible for maintaining County roads and bridges.
During the winter they provide County residents with snow removal services such as plowing and sanding.

Position performs work in all types of weather and in conditions where dust, dirt, snow, ice, and debris are encountered.

- Performs all road maintenance and repairs, including, but not limited to patching, road grading, sweeping, snow plowing, equipment transport, drainage work and dust control;
- Operates a variety of heavy equipment including, but not limited to plow trucks, dump trucks, side dumps, hot asphalt patching trucks, rollers, loaders, backhoes, sweepers, dozers, water trucks, motor graders, mowers, transport trucks and lowboys;
- Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs of equipment;
- Performs bridge installation and repair using excavators, backhoes, bobcats, pneumatic tools and laser levels;
- Performs culvert maintenance, guardrail maintenance, and repair;
- Seeding; sign installation, repair and maintenance;
- Performs traffic control using hand signs and installing cones, signs and barricades;
- May assist in flood control operations and other emergency operations;
