Scope of Position
Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking Adjunct, Sport Management Faculty to work primarily on the Godfrey campus with day and evening availability. Key Measurable Expectations (KMEs)
- Create, administer, and grade assignments of LC students;
- Calculate and submit grades for students;
- Collaborate with Professors on coursework;
- Stay current on material in the needed field of study;
- Provide support and guidance for students as needed.;
- Teach courses such as Introduction to Sport Management, Sport Marketing, and Sport Law. Integrate instructional technology as appropriate.
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
- MBA/Master’s degree in a business discipline.
- Demonstrated commitment to our community college mission
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Community College teaching experience.
- Knowledge of Blackboard Ultra or other course management software.
For Academic Year 2026-2027, the pay rate for adjunct faculty is $838 per lecture-equivalent hour.
