As we continue to grow, we are seeking a technically skilled and customer-driven Bioprocess Sales Specialist to support our expanding Life Sciences business.
Role Summary
In this role, you will be part of Levitronix technical sales team to support and grow relationships with world-leading Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and CDMO customers across the Eastern United States. You will engage directly with process engineers, scientists, manufacturing teams, and commercial stakeholders to drive adoption of Levitronix technologies through both technical and commercial leadership.
This position combines technical sales, application engineering, and customer support responsibilities. You will help customers evaluate and implement Levitronix technologies, support process integration and troubleshooting, conduct technical demonstrations and laboratory evaluations, and collaborate closely with internal engineering, and headquarters teams in Switzerland. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Technical Sales
- Drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships within the Life Science industry
- Conduct technical and commercial sales activities with both existing customers and prospective accounts.
- Collaborate with Account Management and Engineering teams to deliver high-impact customer engagements and technical presentations.
- Develop and present customer-specific technical solutions utilizing Levitronix pumps, mixers, sensors, and related technologies.
- Support marketing and sales initiatives including trade shows, technical seminars, workshops, and customer demonstrations.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within bioprocessing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, cell & gene therapy, and related markets.
Application Engineering & Technical Support
- Provide pre-sales application engineering support and technical consultation for customer projects and evaluations.
- Support technical integration, installation, and troubleshooting of customer solutions.
- Conduct laboratory test runs, evaluations, and application demonstrations in Levitronix labs and at customer sites.
- Generate technical documentation, application notes, evaluation reports, and customer-facing materials.
- Provide technical training to customers on operation, integration, and best practices for Levitronix technologies.
- Deliver post-sales technical support as needed, including occasional support outside regular business hours.
- Support customer integration of Levitronix products into process automation and control systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Account Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of customer projects.
- Collaborate with Levitronix headquarters in Switzerland on technical initiatives, customer feedback, and product development activities.
- Contribute market intelligence, customer insights, and application feedback to support continuous improvement and strategic growth initiatives.
- Support development of technical marketing content, training materials, and application-focused resources.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
- Experience in application engineering, process engineering, product development, within biotech, pharma, CDMO, or bioprocess equipment industries is a bonus
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to support complex fluid handling and process systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global teams.
- Willingness for extensive overnight travel within the United States and occasional international travel (up to approximately 60%).
- Requires on-site presence at our Framingham, MA office.
