Premier global engineering and construction firm is seeking Construction Project Quality Manager to lead QA/QC for high-stakes semiconductor mega-fab projects.
In this high-impact role, you will drive quality standards across high-purity process piping and advanced EIC systems.
Salary Range: $150,000 – $200,000 per year BOE

Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Discipline QA/QC Leadership: Direct end-to-end quality assurance and control for specialized mechanical and electrical scopes, including Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), specialty gases, chemical distribution, and EIC systems.
- Quality Strategy & Governance: Develop, implement, and enforce project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMP) and detailed Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) from pre-construction through turnover.
- Code & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to industry standards, including ASME B31.3, SEMI guidelines, and NEC codes.
- Subcontractor Management & Audits: Monitor, audit, and evaluate trade partners and specialized subcontractors to ensure zero-defect installation and strict client specification alignment.
- Data-Driven Quality Management: Track and analyze key performance metrics (NCR tracking, rework rate reduction, first-pass yield) using digital dashboards to foster continuous improvement.
- High-Purity Turnover & Pre-Commissioning: Lead pre-commissioning walkdowns, manage high-purity turnover documentation, and ensure seamless system handoffs to facility operations.
- NDE/NDT Oversight: Supervise non-destructive examination/testing processes and validate weld integrity across critical systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 7 years of progressive experience in Construction QA/QC or Quality Management, with at least 3 years directly within semiconductor, high-tech fab, or cleanroom manufacturing projects.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of high-purity piping systems (Stainless Steel, PVDF, PolyPro, PFA) and specialized joining methods such as Infrared (IR) fusion welding and orbital welding.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent hands-on industry leadership experience.
- Codes & Standards: Strong proficiency in ASME B31.3, SEMI standards, and NEC (National Electrical Code).
- Core Competencies: Strong leadership skills, structured root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA management, and deep familiarity with NDE/NDT methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
Project Scope:
- Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary quality teams on greenfield or major expansion Semiconductor "Mega-Fab" projects.
