You’ll play a key role in overseeing accounting operations, supporting SEC and SOX requirements, and helping strengthen reporting and controls as the business grows.
What You’ll Do
- Own monthly and quarterly close while ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting
- Oversee core accounting functions and general ledger activity across multiple entities
- Support external reporting requirements within a public company environment
- Provide guidance on technical accounting areas including revenue, equity compensation, leases, and other complex transactions
- Lead SOX-related activities and partner with auditors throughout quarterly and annual reviews
- Manage and develop an accounting team, building scalable processes to support continued growth
- Partner with FP&A and finance leadership on reporting, variance analysis, and business insights
- Drive improvements across systems, controls, and workflows to strengthen accounting operations
- Active CPA required
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- 5 years in a manager / leadership role
- Strong technical foundation across U.S. GAAP and complex accounting areas
- Hands-on experience supporting SEC reporting and SOX compliance in a regulated environment
- Comfortable leading teams while owning close, reporting, and process improvements
- SaaS or technology experience is a plus, not required
- Based in the Tampa area and open to a hybrid schedule (typically 1–2 days onsite)
- $180K–$210K base salary (DOE) bonus potential
