Level is seeking a Senior Accountant to help us scale our financial operations and ensure a strong backbone for our next stage of growth.
What You Will Do
- Own and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, treasury management, and bank reconciliations across several operating units
- Assist with accounting for international operation, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and vendors as needed
- Evaluate and implement accounting systems and processes that scale with company growth
Need to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Qualified for CPA license; CPA strongly preferred
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 accounting firm or high-growth startup is highly preferred)
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a self-starter mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately, and balance multiple tasks with aggressive timelines simultaneously
