Overview
Join our dynamic educational team as a Homeschool Teacher for our Funday Friday Camp and inspire a love of learning in children within a personalized, flexible environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging lessons, foster individual growth, and implement innovative teaching strategies tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Weekly hours- Fridays 9:00am-2:45pm, (with additional days and hours available, per experience and interview)
As a Homeschool Teacher for our Funday Friday Camp you will be responsible for the following:
Duties
- Develop comprehensive curricula aligned with fitness and fun in mind
- Must be comfortable doing fitness activities including, relay race, warmup, stretch building
- Must be a creative teacher with new crafts and games weekly.
- Must be a caring individual ready to plan a day full of fun and learning.
- Build P.E. style lessons each week.
Experience
- Proven experience working with students in educational settings such as private schools, Montessori programs, or homeschooling environments.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education across various age groups.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Experience with a language is a plus!
- Knowledge of special education practices and working effectively with children with disabilities or behavioral challenges.
- Prior experience in tutoring or providing childcare services that demonstrate patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging educational content for diverse learners while maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
