Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Funding Manager/Credit Underwriter. The role involves evaluating credit applications, conducting detailed risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with lending policies. The Credit Underwriter will analyze financial data, assess creditworthiness, review loan requests, and prepare reports. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the funding process is essential.
Qualifications
- Profound knowledge in Credit Underwriting and Underwriting principles
- Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to assess financial and credit data
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Loans and financing solutions
- Detail-oriented and skilled in decision-making under time-sensitive situations
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the financial or lending industry is an advantage
